When SheepTerm is the right fit
- You spend your day in SSH and console sessions to switches, routers and firewalls.
- You want vendor-aware highlighting, plain-text session logs you can search, and split panes.
- You want one free tool on a Mac and a Windows PC, with optional end-to-end encrypted sync through your own Google Drive.
When it is not
- You need SFTP, Telnet, X11, RDP, VNC or scripting inside the same app.
- You need mobile apps or team vaults.
- You need Linux today (it is planned).
- You are not comfortable with an app that is not notarized (Mac) or not code-signed (Windows) yet.
